The story begins in 1967, when DUILIO LONDERO opened his first store, “QUINCAILLERIE LONDERO” a hardware store located in St-Jean-Sur-Richelieu, near Montreal- Canada.
Duilio operated the hardware store with the help of his spouse Huguette Londero. For several years, Huguette served the customers and did the store’s accounting while taking care of their two sons Paolo and Patrick.
« One day a salesman sold me a lot of fishing tackles. It didn’t take long to realize that my customers were more interested by the fishing wall then my pots and pans! We were very delighted by this instant success because the fishing activity met our personal interests. ” recalls Duilio Londero with a large grin on his face.
It is with great enthusiasm and to respond to a new clientele that Duilio Londero gradually replaces the hardware equipment by not only fishing tackles but also hunting and camping gear. Five years later, the hardware store becomes LONDERO SPORTS and sells only outdoor equipments.
“Since then, our company has never stopped innovating.”
In 1993, LONDERO SPORTS INC creates its own archery distribution division, « Arc-Inter Distributor ». To reach a larger number of archery adepts, Duilio LONDERO and his sons, decide to print and distribute an archery catalogue.
Instantly, the new ARC-INTER catalogue is very popular and is rapidly considered as « the reference » in archery matter.
Ten years later, ARC-INTER DISTRIBUTOR is renowned as «The Best Bilingual Mail Order Specialist » in archery – black powder and dog hunting equipment.
Londero Sports- ARC Inter has been growing steadily ever since and is still developing new ways to improve its customer service
To keep up with the ever changing outdoor sports industry, we have recently put our expertise and experience on our website @ arcinter.com.
Since 1998, LONDERO SPORTS relocated the store in a two storey building on Séminaire boulevard in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu. It’s 10,000 square feet of pure savings!
